Virginia's Plastic Pesticide Container Recycling Program has been a cooperative effort between Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) and local governments. VDACS has provided participating local governments small grants to defray local expenses. Virginia's Pesticide Disposal Program is administered by the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, with participation by Virginia Cooperative Extension, and the Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services. The program assists agricultural producers, licensed pesticide dealers and pest control firms, golf courses and homeowners with the proper disposal of unwanted pesticides.
